They say there’s a time for work and a time for play. At WideNet, we ask, “Why not both?”
We’re serious about what we do. We work hard, but we also think it’s important to have fun and we aren’t the only ones. Studies show that when the office culutre is fun and humorous people are happier, more creative, more productive, and it reduces the amount of sick days the average employee takes. Maintaining a company culture that inspires people to work and and play harder is critical to success. Some companies like Zappos even look at a prospective employee’s ability to fit within their current culutre as the number one determining factor in hiring.
January 28th National Fun at Work Day, and to celebrate the importance of having a little fun on the job, we’re sharing a collection of the best antics from around the WideNet office. Check them out below, and then leave us a comment about how you have fun at work.
