There are 2 ways to create an account: Using the Instagram App on your smartphone or using your desktop.
**Regardless of which of these options you choose, you will have to have the Instagram app downloaded to your phone in order to post.**
Setting Up Account Using Instagram App On Smartphone
- Download the Instagram App (IPhones: Use App Store; Android: Use Google Play Store)
- Once the app is installed, tap the Instagram icon to open the app.
- Once the app is open, tap sign up.
- Enter email address
- Tap Next
- Create a username
- Create Password
- Input your website URL
- Write a short bio
- Upload your profile picture
- Click Submit
- Click Done
Setting Up Account Using Desktop
- Go to instagram.com
- You will see a form with a “sign up” button below it. You will need to fill out the form.
- Enter email address
- Enter Full Name
- Create a username
- Create Password
- Click Sign Up
- Input your website URL
- Write a short bio
- Upload your profile picture
- Click Submit
